About the Role
As an Approved Electrician, your role will involve carrying out various electrical installations of low voltage wiring and containment systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing and adhering to safe electrical isolation procedures for existing live circuits.
- Installing various low voltage wiring systems and cable containment systems.
- Issuing installation and condition reports.
- Testing and energizing systems up to 1000V, including newly installed and modified electrical systems.
- Ensuring that all operational procedures, safe working practices, and H&S procedures are followed.
- Completing any reasonable tasks assigned in accordance with your position, with the aim of adding value.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and drawings.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Experience of electrical installations and testing within a process plant environment.
- Experience of Manufacturing and Industrial sector is essential.
- 2391 or 2394/5 qualified and must have knowledge of condition reporting.
- 17th edition qualified.
- NVQ Level 3 qualification.
- Level 3 Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations.
- Full UK Driving License.
