About The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with our operational teams, you will lead the generation of profitable new business for adi Food & Beverage. You will shape our pipeline, build influential industry relationships, lead compelling tender submissions, and ensure seamless project handovers that set our teams up for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, own and manage a strong pipeline of project opportunities to meet annual sales targets.
- Build and nurture senior relationships across the food & beverage and manufacturing sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis, networking and industry engagement.
- Lead and manage complex tenders in collaboration with the Bid Director and operational teams.
- Act as the primary client interface throughout the bid and tender process, including presentations and negotiations.
- Develop compelling, value-adding commercial and operational solutions.
- Drive opportunities through to financial and commercial close, ensuring smooth handover and contract mobilisation.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity data within the ADI CRM system.
About you
- Proven senior sales leadership experience within engineering, construction or project-led environments.
- Demonstrable experience selling diverse engineering project solutions into the food and beverage manufacturing sector.
- Strong track record of winning complex, high-value project bids.
- An engineering-biased background (degree-qualified or career-developed) is highly desirable.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Commercially astute with the ability to translate client needs into profitable, compliant solutions.
- Strategic, proactive and value-driven approach.
