We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our growing team at adi Electrical. This field‑based role covers multiple sites across the North‑West and requires installing, testing and inspecting low‑voltage electrical systems on industrial sites. CompEx experience is advantageous, and we welcome applications from electricians with current or previous hazardous area certification.
In this role you will carry out the installation, testing and inspection of low‑voltage electrical systems across a variety of industrial sites, delivering high‑quality, safe, and compliant electrical works for our customers.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Safely isolate existing live circuits in line with Safe Electrical Isolation procedures.
- Install a wide range of low‑voltage wiring systems.
- Install various cable containment systems to a high standard.
- Test, commission and energise electrical systems up to 400V, including new and modified installations.
- Ensure all work complies with operational procedures, safe working practices and Health & Safety requirements.
- Read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and technical drawings.
- Carry out reasonable additional tasks aligned with the role, always seeking to add value.
About You
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- AM2 industry assessment of occupational competence
- Proven experience in the industrial sector
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a wider team
- A full UK driving licence
- CompEx certification/experience is desirable; we are open to considering candidates with current or previous CompEx experience.
