We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our automation team. You will be responsible for delivering detailed electrical designs, supporting project delivery, and providing technical leadership across a range of industrial and automation projects.
- Produce detailed electrical designs, calculations, specifications, and drawings using EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide engineering solutions, quotations, and technical proposals.
- Support the design and delivery of Control & LV Switchgear Panels and cabling installations.
- Provide technical support throughout project delivery, manufacture, and commissioning.
- Review and approve design submissions to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Proven experience in electrical design within automation or industrial control systems.
- Experience designing complete electrical control systems from initial client concept through to final delivery and commissioning.
- Ability to interpret client requirements and develop practical, fit-for-purpose engineering solutions from scratch.
- Proficiency with EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and motor control systems.
- A strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
