About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing control systems for automated processes.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our automation solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability and safety.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and, where necessary, preparing engineering solutions and costed proposals.
- Designing, developing and programming PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems to meet customer specifications.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and fit for purpose.
- Working collaboratively with electrical design, process safety systems and control software engineers to deliver turnkey automation projects across sectors including food, beverage, chemical, marine and materials handling.
- Developing PLC control software using Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) or Siemens platforms.
- Designing and implementing HMI and SCADA systems.
About you

- Experience in control systems engineering with knowledge of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
- A good understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
- Experience designing, developing and programming PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
