Overview
This role will be an integral part of our events & exhibitions team selling exhibition space for an exhibition.
This is the largest exhibition in the UK for the manufacturing technologies sector and you will be part of a successful and motivated team. Providing customer care and developing long-term relationships with exhibitors and identifying and securing new exhibitors.
Our client has a large membership base, which is growing continuously and needs two Telesales Executive to sell to potential exhibitors/relevant Companies. They other membership services throughout the year to companies and you will be responsible for promoting this to their members.
Responsibilities
- To work with the Head of Operations on the Exhibition & other membership events throughout the year.
- To gain a thorough understanding of all the product
- To drive new exhibition business sales within the manufacturing technology sector with the full support of all departments.
- Promote Membership services to member
- Use New Business leads to sell Membership & Services to potential members and assist in growing Members.
- Sell exhibition stand space to new exhibitors via a variety of media, including trade press, telesales, email and direct postal marketing.

- To gain a thorough understanding of all the product areas exhibited at the exhibition and the requirements of the exhibitors to enable you to sell the exhibition and develop and gain new members.
- To develop and maintain a database of exhibitors and potential exhibitors, including researching and identifying new potential members/exhibitors.
- To maintain contact with confirmed and unconfirmed exhibitors before, during and after the event, to develop the relationship, ensure customer satisfaction and secure future exhibitor loyalty.
- To visit appropriate competitive events to contact existing and potential exhibitors and to assess the competition and develop offerings.

Essential Skills and Requirements
- Good sales ability, with a clear understanding of how to close a sale over the telephone β Experience in a similar role
- A positive approach, self-motivated with a desire to succeed
- Outgoing, enthusiastic and hungry to succeed, with capability of building and maintaining new and existing customer relationships
- Ability to work with many clients at the same time
- Ability to multitask and communicate with clients via phone, email and Teams
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to illustrate excellent customer service skills
- A confident and professional telephone manner

- Ability to focus on your own work and work as part of a team
