Support Worker - Sanctuary

Hours: 17 hours per week (Thursday & Sunday)

Salary: £13.20 per hour

Based at: Carmarthen Sanctuary

Role Purpose:

• Provide direct support to individuals suffering with various levels of mental illness accessing the Sanctuary.
• Facilitate practical interventions such as meals, beverages, washing facilities, emergency clothing etc.
• Identify appropriate services and resources based on the individual’s presenting needs and make appropriate referrals and or signposting.
• Encourage and support clients to access appropriate services and resources as required.
• Ensure all individuals accessing the Sanctuary are assisted in line with Adferiad Recovery’s Recovery Plan.
• Provide an out of hours, non-accommodation-based service offering support between the hours of 17:00 to 02:00, 4 days per week, 365 days per year.
