The Dyfodol Offender Interventions Service is an integrated partnership provision for South Wales, supporting public sector prisons including HMP Cardiff, HMP Swansea, HMP Usk/Prescoed, and HMP Parc. The service aims to address the causes of drug and alcohol-related offending and reduce associated risks through assessment, engagement, and diversion of offenders into appropriate interventions. It strives to support the reduction of drug and alcohol misuse and reoffending, demonstrating evidence-based best practices.
The service involves developing strong relationships with various organizations to support the work of the three Area Planning Boards (Western Bay, Cardiff, the Vale, and Cwm Taf Morgannwg). It also provides support for adult offenders and prisoners with drug and/or alcohol dependencies within the seven local authority areas of South Wales: Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend, Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and Merthyr Tydfil.
We encourage applications from all community groups, even if you\’re unsure about your fit for the role. We value diverse applicants and want to hear from a broad cross-section of the community.
