Role Purpose
To work as part of a team, preparing high level management accounts information for the charity to agreed deadlines and in accordance with Accounting Standards and Financial Policies.
Responsibilities
- To prepare and upload journal entries into Finance System (NetSuite), using Excel.
- To review monthly expenditure and income for a group of services, making necessary journal adjustments (i.e. deferred and accrued income, prepayments, and accruals).
- To compare actual expenditure against budgeted costs, investigating and reporting on variances.
- To contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts.
- To reconcile a range of balance sheet nominal codes.
- To maintain a contract management system, ensuring contracts are stored, listed, and reported in an organized and efficient manner.
- To assist with financial claims and returns, in accordance with funder’s requests.
- To assist with requests for costings to support tenders being prepared and to support other members of the finance team, as and when required.
