Role Purpose: In this role, you will work directly with individuals experiencing challenges related to substance use, mental health, and overall wellbeing.
As a Support Worker, you will provide practical, emotional, and advocacy-based support—empowering people to achieve greater independence, recovery, and personal growth.
You will deliver person-centred support through assessments, personalised planning, and partnership working. Your role will focus on promoting self-confidence and resilience, improving access to essential services and opportunities, and reducing barriers to recovery and inclusion. Throughout your work, you will ensure that every individual you support is treated with dignity, respect and compassion, while safeguarding their wellbeing and supporting their journey towards recovery.
If you think you might have these skills, but are not 100% sure, please do still apply and let us decide. We know that certain groups rule themselves out of interesting opportunities assuming that others will be more successful, but please don't be that person. We want to hear from the widest cross section of the community.
