We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Facilitator, internally known as GBS (Genuit Business System) Facilitator. As a GBS Facilitator, you will work closely with functional leads, supporting and empowering teams to work smarter and more effectively. By championing the Genuit Business System (GBS) - its tools, techniques, and behaviours - you will help colleagues identify better ways of working and embed continuous improvement into everyday activity.
Responsibilities
- Support the wider GBS team
- Collaborate across functions, driving improvement through our organisation
- As a subject matter expert, you’ll coach our teams, building capability, enabling improvement to become sustainable and part of how we do business
- Respond to daily challenges, lead root cause workshops and be hands on in the ‘stop & fix’
- Support delivery of the kaizen roadmap to achieve strategy deployment objectives
- Take ownership of implementing the Genuit Business System, deliver improvements whilst ensuring the appropriate practices are followed
- Facilitate lean orientation & training workshops, kaizen events, and lead local CI practices such as 6S and the employee suggestion schemes
- Support sustainment activities resulting from improvement activities, and lead Gemba walks and Audits
- Constantly seek improvements
- Find better ways of working that will allow us to exceed our customers’ expectations
- Continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise through best practice visits, internal training and external networking, ensuring integration of appropriate industry technologies and processes into the business
- Use process mapping techniques to deep dive into business processes to reduce or remove non-value adding steps
- Apply a structured change management methodology to ensure effective and seamless change
The Person
- Proven experience in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment
- Project management skills with a track record of success
- Knowledge of Lean tools and principles, including Daily Management, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Visual Management, Root Cause Analysis, A3 Problem Solving, 8 Wastes, SMED and TPM
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, with strong analytical and data-driven thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Resilience and strong mentoring capabilities to effectively guide, support, and motivate team members, including during periods of resistance or organisational change
