ADEY, the market leader in the provision of residential water treatment products for closed loop heating and cooling systems in the UK, is looking for a CAD Technician to join the team. Part of the Genuit Groups’ Climate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit, ADEY has ambitious growth plans to continue protecting the world's heating and cooling systems, to have a positive impact on the environment and people's lives.
The CAD Technician is responsible for uploading models and drawings to PDM system, maintaining a good understanding of PDM system implementation, CAD administration (non-design work), including updating drawing packs through ECRs. The CAD Technician is also responsible for drawing office ECRs and providing regular updates, and taking a pro‑active approach when dealing with sometimes complex ECRs.
Responsibilities
- Working within PDM system for drawings updates and file management
- Supporting migration effort on to PDM vault
- Producing technical illustrations for step by step instructions
