The Systems Integration Coordinator (SIC) will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of a new ERP system Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and the transition away from the current in-house on premises system, which is scheduled to be decommissioned in 2026. This is a fixed-term role (approximately 12 months) focused on user acceptance testing (UAT), process validation, and supporting system development to ensure BC meets all operational and reporting requirements of the business.
The organisation is undergoing a full ERP transition, requiring extensive validation across all business processes. Existing workflows in the existing in-house system must be accurately replicated or improved in BC prior to system switch-off. Dedicated resource is required to:
- Conduct structured UAT across departments
- Identify system gaps and risks
- Support iterative development with IT
This role reduces implementation risk, ensures operational continuity, and improves adoption of BC.
Key Responsibilities
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Shadow employees across multiple departments using the existing in-house system
- Simultaneously replicate processes in BC to validate functionality
- Test end-to-end workflows across all business functions
- Gap Analysis & Issue Identification
- Identify discrepancies between the in-house system and BC
- Document system gaps, inefficiencies, and risks
- Prioritise issues based on operational impact
- System Development Support
- Work closely with the IT Systems Administrator/Developer to resolve identified issues
- Assist in refining system functionality and workflows
- Participate in iterative testing cycles to confirm fixes
- Liaise with third-party suppliers to support system development, issue resolution, and integration activities
- Output & Reporting Validation
- Test reports and outputs generated from BC
- Ensure outputs match business requirements currently met by the in-house system
- Highlight inconsistencies and support resolution
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Engage with stakeholders across all departments
- Build understanding of business processes and requirements
- Act as a bridge between operational teams and IT
- Support communication and coordination with external partners where required
- Training & Documentation
- Assist with end user training to support adoption of BC across the business
- Create and maintain user documentation, process guides, and training materials
- Develop process maps to reflect current and future-state workflows within BC
