Are you looking to grow your career in governance, legal operations, or company secretarial work? We're looking for a highly organised and proactive CoSec Assistant/Paralegal to join our Legal & Company Secretariat team. This is a great opportunity to build specialist experience in a listed‑company environment while gaining exposure to Group‑wide governance activity, legal processes, Board/Committee support, share schemes and statutory compliance. You'll work closely with the Legal Counsel & Company Secretary and the wider team to ensure the Group meets its statutory, regulatory and governance obligations.
What you'll be involved in:
- Supporting contract management and maintaining the Group Contract Register
- Assisting with signing of legal documents, including via DocuSign
- Conducting sanctions checks using third‑party software
- Managing and maintaining Group IP schedules
- Supporting M&A administration pre‑ and post‑completion
- Maintaining statutory registers and preparing Companies House filings
- Using GEMS to support entity management and subsidiary governance
- Supporting share scheme administration and share dealing processes
- Assisting with AGM preparation and broader corporate governance activity
- Contributing to insurance admin, gifts & hospitality register, key dates calendar and SharePoint management
Qualifications:
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and time‑management
- Ability to use initiative, work confidentially, and manage competing priorities
- Clear, professional communication and a proactive, adaptable approach
- Interest in legal and governance work, ideally with some foundational experience
