Adeva Partners is expanding its team of expert trainers who deliver practical, engaging, and high-impact learning experiences to clients across the global financial sector, including banks, insurers, regulators, and corporates. We are seeking outstanding professionals with deep technical knowledge in insurance and strong communication skills. As a trainer, you will join a respected network of practitioners delivering advanced virtual and occasional in-person training focused on topics such as business models, financial strength analysis, capital and reinsurance strategies, and regulatory frameworks.
Our clients range from global banks, insurers and brokers to leading regulators and investment managers. Our training sits at an intermediate to advanced level and is designed to be applied immediately in the real world. This is a senior, part-time, flexible, and remote role. While most delivery is virtual, some UK and international travel may be required.

What will you do?
- Deliver client-specific training courses for finance and risk professionals, focusing on topics such as financial analysis, capital adequacy, risk strategy, regulation, and business opportunities.
- Work with our expert team to design, develop and update insurance case studies, exercises and other training materials.
- Facilitate remote and occasional in-person sessions that are practical, interactive, and aligned to client needs.
- Work collaboratively with a highly experienced network of fellow trainers and supported by Adeva’s core team.
- Contribute your insights to support client engagement and new business development.
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years of senior-level experience in a risk or coverage role in a bank, as a supervisor, rating analyst or in a finance, risk or actuarial role in the insurance sector.
- Strong technical knowledge in at least two of the following areas:
- Insurance business models (life, general, reinsurance)
- Solvency II, US statutory, or other regulatory frameworks
- IFRS, GAAP, or statutory reporting
- Capital or investment strategy within insurance
- Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills.
- A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to support professional development.
- Experience in the analysis of other sectors, e.g. banks, asset managers, other NBFI or corporates, would be a plus.
