We are looking for an experienced New Relic Consultant to support a large scale integration and transformation programme. This is a fully remote contract role where you will take ownership of designing and implementing a modern monitoring and observability framework within a complex enterprise environment.

As the New Relic expert on the project, you will:
- Design and develop a comprehensive monitoring and observability concept based on New Relic for an enterprise integration landscape
- Implement the monitoring setup as part of a Proof of Concept (PoC), including:
- Technical configuration
- Instrumentation
- Validation and optimisation
- Azure Integration Services
- MuleSoft
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong hands on experience with New Relic including APM, Logs, Infrastructure, Alerts and Dashboards
- Solid background in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Observability
- Experience working with microservices architectures
- Practical experience with cloud platforms, Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also valuable
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Good knowledge of at least one common programming language, for example Java, .NET or Node.js
- Experience designing and implementing logging and alerting concepts
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex system environments
Project Context
The programme focuses on modernising an enterprise integration landscape, replacing legacy middleware platforms with a future proof cloud based architecture. Observability and transparency across systems, APIs and interfaces are critical to the programme’s success.
