We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level JavaScript Engineer to join our team in Estonia. In this role, you will play a key part in developing innovative ad-serving and ad-rendering solutions using Vanilla JavaScript, while focusing on best practices and optimizing ad performance across various platforms. Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and optimize vanilla JavaScript code for ad-serving and ad-rendering systems.
- Research and implement best practices for ad performance, rendering, and delivery across devices and browsers.
- Design and implement robust and efficient ad formats, ensuring compatibility across various environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Debug, test, and optimize ad formats for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines for ad-serving and rendering.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clean, well-commented codebases.
- Proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript with a deep understanding of ES6+ features.
- Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with ad-related technologies such as Google Ad Manager, Prebid.js, or similar tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with bundlers like Webpack.
- Knowledge of modern development tools like Git, NPM/Yarn, and ESLint/Prettier.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Self-motivated and eager to stay updated with the latest trends in JavaScript and web development.
- 3+ years of experience as a JavaScript developer.
- Strong understanding of browser rendering behavior, DOM manipulation, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience building and optimizing high-performance, lightweight JavaScript applications.
- Familiarity with debugging tools like Chrome DevTools, and performance profiling.
- Experience working with asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await, etc.).
- Experience with TypeScript or other typed JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring and optimization tools like Lighthouse or WebPageTest.
- Knowledge of programmatic advertising and real-time bidding systems.
- Previous experience in the ad tech industry or with ad-serving platforms.
