Overview

In this entry-level consulting role you support the delivery and adoption of Aderant software within live client engagements. You will work under a senior mentor to develop delivery discipline, product fluency, and confidence in front of clients. You’ll contribute to AI-enabled ways of working and build reusable assets for the practice. The job blends hands-on configuration, client interaction, and knowledge sharing to drive client value and practice growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver defined configuration, data and documentation tasks on live client implementations under the engagement architect
  • Build and execute test scripts, support user acceptance testing, and manage defects through resolution
  • Produce and maintain engagement documentation such as configuration workbooks, process definitions, training material, and handover packs
  • Work to estimates and plan dates, flag slippage early
  • Record time accurately and translate it into client value and practice revenue
  • Support requirement and design workshops and progress to independent facilitation
  • Deliver client training on defined product areas
  • Communicate progress, blockers and risks clearly to the engagement lead
  • Represent Aderant professionally on client site and remotely
  • Apply AI tooling as a normal part of the working day and validate AI outputs before delivering to clients
  • Identify tasks suitable for templating or automation and contribute improvements to the practice
  • Contribute reusable assets like prompts, templates, and checklists to the knowledge base
  • Take part in the Professional Services AI Show and Tell with at least one practical use case in year one
  • Complete onboarding and product certifications for your engagement portfolio
  • Shadow senior consultants to build breadth
  • Own development actions with your mentor
  • Contribute to internal initiatives such as methodology improvement and knowledge management
  • First-year milestones include onboarding, independent task delivery, client workshops, and increasing chargeability
  • Deliver a discrete workstream with architect oversight and client training
  • Be a dependable delivery resource on EMEA engagements with a defined chargeability target

Key requirements

  • Evidence of delivering to deadlines under pressure in a professional or academic setting
  • Clear written and verbal communication with confidence to speak to clients
  • Strong analytical and data handling skills, including practical Excel experience
  • Curiosity about AI tooling with practical examples of using it to improve work
  • Learning orientation: proactive, feedback-seeking, and action-oriented
  • Organised and self-managing with ability to handle multiple commitments
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to travel across EMEA
  • Degree level education or equivalent practical experience. Open to career changers and non-traditional backgrounds
