An established building services engineering consultancy based in North Bristol is seeking a Graduate or Junior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate in Building Services Engineering or someone with up to 2 years’ experience in mechanical building services design who is looking to develop their career within a supportive consultancy environment.
You will support the delivery of mechanical design solutions across a variety of building projects, including both new build and refurbishment schemes across the UK.
- Support mechanical building services design across a range of projects
- Assist senior engineers and directors with project delivery across RIBA work stages
- Work alongside architects, structural engineers and contractors
- Assist with site visits, surveys and commissioning activities
- Contribute to the development of energy-efficient and sustainable engineering solutions
Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Building Services focus preferred)
- Graduate level or up to 2 years’ experience in mechanical building services design
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, ventilation, heating and cooling design
- Awareness of UK building regulations and RIBA work stages
- Experience with IESVE or other building performance modelling tools
- Exposure to Revit, AutoCAD or other design software
