We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to help drive our clients next phase of growth, transitioning from advanced R&D and prototype development into the delivery of mature, mission-critical products for the defence and aerospace sector. This is a high-impact opportunity for a technically capable and commercially minded Project Manager who thrives in complex engineering environments and understands the importance of delivering to time, cost, and quality.
The Role:
- You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, managing multidisciplinary teams across software, systems, and mechanical engineering while ensuring compliance with stringent aerospace and defence standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading project planning, execution, and delivery
- Managing timelines, budgets, and resources
- Coordinating integration, testing, and validation activities
- Working closely with regulatory and compliance teams
- Managing project risk and stakeholder engagement
- Driving continuous improvement using Agile / Lean methodologies
Essential Experience:
- Proven Project Management experience within defence or aerospace
- Strong understanding of aerospace safety and compliance standards
- Experience managing complex engineering programmes
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Primavera
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable Experience:
- PMP certification
- Experience working with defence contractors or military programmes
