We are partnered with a tier 1 engineering services provider who are part of the exciting Hinkley Point C nuclear power station build. They are currently looking to add a mechanical project manager from a nuclear/heavily regulated building services background to their team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Role:
- Driving the delivery of the contract or package activities to ensure they are delivered safely on time, to budget, meeting business & technical requirements.
- Developing and implementing strategies and plans in line with the overall programme execution plan (PEP), setting out how the programme of work will be managed, organised, and executed.
- Monitoring and managing the progress of the programme - track progress against milestones, deadlines, budget and provide key stakeholders with reports on these matters.
- Display a broad understanding of mechanical systems infrastructure, safety & commissioning requirements, commercial construction industry practices, construction contracts and budget/schedule management.
