We are recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing Building Services consultancy delivering projects across commercial, residential, care, refurbishment and Building Safety Act-related schemes. This is a key technical appointment offering considerable autonomy, flexible working and the opportunity to become an important part of a growing consultancy.

The Role

  • Electrical Building Services design from concept through detailed stages
  • Detailed electrical calculations
  • LV distribution and distribution schedules
  • Cable sizing, lighting, emergency lighting and small power
  • Specifications and technical documentation
  • Review and coordination of CAD drawings
  • Client and project meetings
  • Managing your own projects and workload

About You

  • We're looking for an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer, ideally with 5+ years' post-qualification experience within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong detailed design and calculation capability is essential, particularly around electrical distribution and schedules.
  • Dedicated CAD support is already available, so the focus is on technical engineering and project ownership rather than drawing production.
