We are recruiting a Electrical Engineer to join a growing Building Services design consultancy delivering projects across commercial, residential, care, refurbishment and Building Safety Act-related schemes.
This is a key technical appointment offering considerable autonomy, flexible working and the opportunity to become an important part of a growing consultancy.
The Role
- Electrical Building Services design from concept through detailed stages
- Detailed electrical calculations
- LV distribution and distribution schedules
- Cable sizing, lighting, emergency lighting and small power
- Specifications and technical documentation
- Review and coordination of CAD drawings
- Client and project meetings
- Managing your own projects and workload
About You
- We're looking for an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer, ideally with 5+ years' post-qualification experience within a consultancy environment.
- Strong detailed design and calculation capability is essential, particularly around electrical distribution and schedules.
- Dedicated CAD support is already available, so the focus is on technical engineering and project ownership rather than drawing production.
