Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. £38,000- £40,000 (£43/44,000 total package - some mandatory weekend work paid at overtime rates - 7 weekends per year). Monday to Friday 07:00- 15:00. Overtime paid at x1.5 and x2, 25 days holiday + banks, pension, life insurance, on-site canteen serving hot & cold food.
Adept:us are excited to have partnered with an FMCG manufacturing business. The business is long established in the local area and boasts a clean and modern facility. We are currently seeking a mechanical maintenance technician to join the production maintenance team. Training on site-specific equipment can be given, along with further skills development.
The Role:
- Working as part of an 18 person engineering team, your overall objective will be to ensure the efficient running of all production equipment.
- Reactive Maintenance: Swiftly respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Planned Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure the equipment remains reliable and functions smoothly.
- Equipment Support: Assist with the installation and modification of electro-mechanical systems.
- Team Collaboration: Provide training, coaching, and support to production and operational staff.
