We are partnered with a tier 1 engineering services provider who are part of the exciting Hinkley Point C nuclear power station build. They are currently looking to add an electrical project manager from a building services/electrical installation background to their team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Role:
- Driving the delivery of the contract or package activities to ensure they are delivered safely on time, to budget, meeting business & technical requirements.
- Developing and implementing strategies and plans in line with the overall programme execution plan (PEP), setting out how the programme of work will be managed, organised, and executed.
- Monitoring and managing the progress of the programme - track progress against milestones, deadlines, budget and provide key stakeholders with reports on these matters.
- Display a broad understanding of building services electrical systems infrastructure, protection & distribution requirements, commercial construction industry practices, construction contracts and budget/schedule management.
- To engage and communicate with stakeholders to ensure that accurate timelines are maintained, and tasks delivered.
- Lead, motivate and develop teams to drive projects and exceed expectations.
The Requirements:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Qualification in Project Management such as APM PMQ or other recognised qualification.
- Track record of delivering projects in complex environments, from concept to handover, within a technically complex and dynamic environment.
- Previous experience working on large scale building services electrical installations.
