Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their Bristol office and play a key role in the delivery of electrical building services designs across a range of sectors.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will be involved in the design and delivery of electrical building services systems from concept through to completion. Projects span a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial and public sector developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical building services design across all project stages
- Production of calculations, specifications and technical reports
- Design of power, lighting, small power, fire alarm and associated building systems
- Coordination with mechanical engineers, architects and external consultants
- Attendance at client meetings, design reviews and site visits
- Support the delivery of projects to programme and budget requirements
- Ensure designs comply with current regulations and industry standards
About You
- Degree, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Experience within a Building Services Consultancy environment
- Good understanding of electrical building services design principles
- Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux or similar
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative design team
