Are you a recent Electrical Engineering graduate looking to start your career within Building Services Design? Our client is a well-established Building Services Consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions across a wide range of projects throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Graduate Electrical Building Services Engineer to join their Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, gain exposure to real projects and develop into a fully qualified Electrical Design Engineer.

The Role

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you'll support the design and delivery of electrical building services systems across a diverse portfolio of projects, gaining experience in all stages of the design process. You'll receive structured training, mentoring and ongoing support from experienced engineers while developing your technical and project delivery skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design of electrical building services systems
  • Support the production of calculations, drawings and technical specifications
  • Learn the design of lighting, power, small power and life safety systems
  • Attend site visits, surveys and project meetings
  • Work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary design teams
  • Develop knowledge of industry standards, regulations and best practice
  • Support project delivery across a variety of sectors

About You

  • Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong interest in Building Services Engineering and Building Design
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn
  • Placement, internship or industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential
