The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Supplier Quality Manager to join a leading Tier 1 engineering services provider delivering works on Hinkley Point C, one of Europe's largest and most complex infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the Supplier Quality function, working with suppliers across the UK and Europe to drive quality performance, supplier development and continuous improvement within a highly regulated environment.
The Role
Reporting into the Quality Lead, you'll manage the Supplier Quality team while working closely with Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams to ensure supplier capability and product quality meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Supplier Quality team
- Manage supplier qualification and supplier performance
- Oversee supplier audit programmes and audit schedules
- Review Contract Quality Assurance Plans (CQAPs)
- Manage source inspection activities
- Drive supplier development and continuous improvement
- Support manufacturing quality and supplier capability
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams
About You
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
- Experience leading Supplier Quality or Quality Assurance teams
- Strong manufacturing knowledge including fabrication, coatings, extrusion and NDT
- Degree qualified in engineering/quality or relevant discipline
- Background within Nuclear or another regulated industry would be advantageous
