We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading mechanical and electrical engineering services contractor delivering works at Hinkley Point C, one of Europe's largest and most complex infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within a highly regulated environment. Previous nuclear experience is not essential, and applications are welcomed from candidates with experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, rail, defence, utilities, power generation and other major projects.
The Role
Working as part of the commercial team, you will support the commercial management of projects from pre-contract through to final account, helping to ensure successful project delivery while protecting commercial interests.

Prepare valuations and applications for payment. Monitor project costs, forecasts and cashflow. Manage subcontractor accounts and variations. Support change management and variation recovery. Assist with contract administration and risk management. Support final account preparation and agreement. Attend commercial and project meetings. Build strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
