Our leading manufacturing client is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a staff basis. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, this role will support the current multi-skilled engineering team in maintaining a modern plant along with playing a pivotal role in driving process improvements across the site working on a shift pattern. You will be taking part in projects and delivering a high standard of maintenance over a variety of modern plant and equipment as well as services.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Equipment meets all safety and regulatory requirements
  • Equipment runs at budgeted level of machine uptime
  • Equipment runs at budgeted spoilage and output
  • Ensure that maintenance and electrical duties are carried out to:
  • Ensure that all safety requirements are met when working with machinery and/or chemicals
  • Ensure that Hazardous area requirements are met including installations, PMs and dossier
  • Maintain plant and equipment to exceptional standards.
  • Work orders and Planned Maintenance are carried out within the set time frames
  • Attend and repair breakdowns within the set time frames
  • Escalate problems that are creating excess downtime
  • Re-design and modify plant and machinery to maximize production outputs
