We are supporting a major live industrial project in Dalry and are seeking an experienced Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to join a central Quality team on a contract basis. Working within a complex, fast-paced construction environment, you will be embedded on-site alongside delivery and construction teams, playing a key role in ensuring quality standards are achieved across all phases of mechanical and piping installation. This is a highly visible, hands-on position offering genuine responsibility, stakeholder influence, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on project delivery outcomes.

The Role

You will be at the centre of project execution, ensuring mechanical and piping systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading QA/QC activities across fabrication, installation, testing, and pre-commissioning
  • Reviewing and interpreting project specifications and drawings
  • Conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
