I’m working with a leading engineering consultancy that delivers innovative, high-impact projects within the Food & Beverage sector, and they’re looking for a passionate EC&I Project Engineer to join their growing team.

You’ll play a key role in delivering complex, business-critical projects that are helping shape the future of UK food production. From bottling lines and wet food processing to pharma-grade facility upgrades, you\’ll be working across a wide range of exciting environments.
This role offers hybrid working with national travel to project sites, so no two weeks are the same. You’ll be trusted to lead on all things EC&I: from design reviews to commissioning and sourcing equipment, through to liaising with contractors and integrators.
What you’ll be doing:
* Acting as a key client liaison throughout project delivery
* Managing contractors and supporting site activities
* Leading design reviews and supporting installation/commissioning
* Sourcing and specifying EC&I equipment
* Interfacing with system integrators and OEMs
What you’ll need:
* 2+ years\’ experience in a heavy industry environment (Food, Beverage, Water, FMCG sectors ideal)
* Knowledge of Control Systems, particularly PLCs
* A minimum of an HNC / Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
* A full, clean UK driving licence (due to site travel)
* A proactive mindset and a passion for delivering quality project work
