Key objectives
- To ensure all systems and interfaces, construction and commissioning activities are completed and are performed in a safe environmentally friendly and efficient manner to achieve the project objectives and milestones.
- To supervise and commission the mechanical equipment on the Project.
- To write and give input to the creation of Mechanical Commissioning Procedures.
Principal accountabilities
- Co-ordinate mechanical construction/commissioning preparation and activities for all Mechanical Pumps and Rotating equipment.
- To safely supervise all personnel engaged in mechanical activities inclusive of vendors, contractors and operations personnel.
- To ensure all work is performed to UKCA Standard, Legislation and project standards.
- To ensure that the Project Completion System is maintained and up to date for all mechanical scope.
- To provide input into planning and all required reports.
- To ensure all changes and modifications are made are controlled and are advised to the As-built control procedures.
- Management of Change for the discipline.
Required experience
- Engineering Degree with a minimum of 15 years Oil and Gas experience as a Mechanical Lead.
- Good computer skills are essential. Installation and start up of Pumps and Compressors essential.
