Key objectives

  • To ensure all systems and interfaces, construction and commissioning activities are completed and are performed in a safe environmentally friendly and efficient manner to achieve the project objectives and milestones.
  • To supervise and commission the mechanical equipment on the Project.
  • To write and give input to the creation of Mechanical Commissioning Procedures.

Principal accountabilities

  • Co-ordinate mechanical construction/commissioning preparation and activities for all Mechanical Pumps and Rotating equipment.
  • To safely supervise all personnel engaged in mechanical activities inclusive of vendors, contractors and operations personnel.
  • To ensure all work is performed to UKCA Standard, Legislation and project standards.
  • To ensure that the Project Completion System is maintained and up to date for all mechanical scope.
  • To provide input into planning and all required reports.
  • To ensure all changes and modifications are made are controlled and are advised to the As-built control procedures.
  • Management of Change for the discipline.

Required experience

  • Engineering Degree with a minimum of 15 years Oil and Gas experience as a Mechanical Lead.
  • Good computer skills are essential. Installation and start up of Pumps and Compressors essential.
