We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at the Riverside Site in Dufftown, where you'll be critical in ensuring our plant runs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with operational standards. This is more than a maintenance role—it’s an opportunity to lead, drive change, and support the growth of a team and a business that values collaboration, innovation, and responsibility.

Your Role

  • Leading and developing a high-performing maintenance team.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards.
  • Managing and executing both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Driving performance against KPIs through data-led decision-making.
  • Supporting budget control, stock levels, and spare part strategies.
  • Playing a hands-on role in troubleshooting and maintenance when needed.
  • Taking a key role in contractor management, training delivery, and shutdown planning.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
  • Proven experience leading or coordinating maintenance teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Permit to Work knowledge and commitment to high safety standards.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.

Preferred:

  • Experience in anaerobic digestion or renewable energy.
  • IOSH certification or equivalent safety qualification.
  • Familiarity with PAS110, CMMS systems, and FMECA processes.
  • Auditing or budget management experience.
