A global top tier COMAH chemical manufacturer is looking to recruit a recent degree-qualified Electrical, Controls and Instrument engineer to join their facility based in West Yorkshire. The company offers a fantastic benefits package, stability, and further training to enhance your skills as an EC&I Maintenance Engineer.
The Graduate EC&I Maintenance Engineer will be involved and trained to undertake both reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation within an Upper Tier COMAH Chemical Manufacturing facility.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years postgrad experience is preferred.
- Experience working on a top tier COMAH site is an advantage but not essential.
- Experience on lower-tier COMAH or other heavy-industrial sites with strong safety requirements such as ATEX, DSEAR, GMP, or power stations will also be considered.
- Knowledge of MCC, Switchgear, Transformers, SIL Levels, 61508 / 61511, Electrical Isolations, DCS/PLC, Flow, Level, Temp, Pressure Instrumentation, SIS, P&ID interpretations.
- BS7671 (current edition) IET Requirements for Electrical Installation certificate is preferred but not essential.

- Ability to work as part of a team within a multidisciplinary function.
- Attention to detail.
- Degree qualified within the EC&I discipline.
- Ideally background experience in sectors such as Chemicals, Oil and Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Nuclear, or similar regulated environments.
