Are you organised, proactive, and great at keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re looking for an Engineering Stores Coordinator to join our Maintenance team and help ensure our site has the right parts, tools, and materials exactly when they’re needed.
In this role, you’ll manage our engineering stores, keep inventory accurate, support maintenance planning, and work closely with teams across the site to keep operations running reliably and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries.
- Keep stock levels accurate using our CMMS and SAP systems.
- Carry out routine stock checks and make sure parts are reordered in time.
- Issue materials and consumables to Maintenance and Operations.
- Maintain a tidy, safe, and audit-ready stores environment.
- Log material usage and help improve spare parts management.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve shortages or delivery issues.
- Support continuous improvement of stores layout, processes, and stock accuracy.
- Help identify critical spares and support KPIs for the wider site.
What You’ll Bring
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in a stores, warehousing, or maintenance support role (manufacturing or food industry experience ideal).
- Strong technical understanding of tools, machinery, and maintenance parts.
- Experience using CMMS and SAP.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- A proactive, reliable mindset with a commitment to high standards.
Desirable:
- Forklift experience.
- Experience working to BRC or similar standards.
