We're recruiting for an experienced Construction HSE Manager to support a large-scale expansion project to a vegetable processing plant.
This is a site-based contract role, providing hands-on HSE leadership on a busy industrial construction site with multiple contractors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day HSE activities on site
- Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation, CDM Regulations and client HSE standards/procedures
- Review and manage RAMS, permits to work and method statements
- Conduct site inspections, audits and toolbox talks
- Manage incidents, near misses and corrective actions
- Report HSE performance to the project and client teams
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction HSE Manager or Senior HSE Advisor on industrial projects
- Strong working knowledge of UK HSE legislation and CDM
- Experience in process, food, FMCG, oils & fats, or manufacturing environments
- NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma preferred)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, contractor-led site environment
