Instrument Engineer / Chemical Manufacturing / Norfolk / ££££ + huge bonus! Your chance to join a Chemical manufacturing leader in the UK with global exposure, exporting over 90% of their product. I know this because the bonus has paid out at 100% four years on the bounce! You will be responsible for Instrument Design and Project delivery for an Upper Tier COMAH manufacturing facility. There will be some operational support, but the main purpose of this function is projects, projects, projects! Ideally you will also be competent using design tools to produces instrument loop and motor starter drawings. Knowledge about VFDs and electrical design (AMTECH / TRIMBLE) would be advantageous. Experience with PLC’s would also put you one step closer to securing an interview, particularly expertise with RSLogix 500/ 5000, Factory talk 32, Siemens PCS7. Given the nature of the site, we are looking for someone who currently works on or has experience working on a highly regulated manufacturing facility so knowledge of COMAH, Atex, SIL and Functional Safety would be beneficial to your ability to fulfil the role.
