Our client is looking for an Instrument Calibration Technician for their manufacturing site and play a key role in ensuring all instruments meet regulatory standards and internal quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of laboratory and production equipment in line with GMP and ISO 17025 standards.
- Maintain accurate, complete calibration records compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and company SOPs.
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation issues to minimise downtime and maintain process continuity.
- Support validation and qualification activities for new equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors for calibration services and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing metrology documentation and technical support.
- Work within cleanroom and controlled environments, following all safety and contamination-control procedures.
- Assist in developing and updating calibration procedures and work instructions.
- Train manufacturing and laboratory staff on equipment handling and calibration best practices.
Requirements:
- HND/Associate’s degree or equivalent in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in instrumentation calibration
- Strong understanding of calibration standards, measurement uncertainty, and traceability
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
