Health & Safety Advisor – Heavy Industry/Recycling – Middlewich – £35k-43k + bonus Our client is a specialist provider of hazardous waste management and recycling solutions to the heavy industry sector. They’re looking for a H&S Advisor to join their team on their lower-tier COMAH site, reporting to the Group HSEQ Manager. This provides an excellent opportunity for someone early on in the H&S career (18 months+) who is keen to join a team that is dedicated to making long term H&S improvements. You’ll be joining a site that has already had significant investment and will continue to receive it until it’s up to the standards that the company expects across their UK operations. You’ll be a focal point for H&S support for the site, gaining experience in occupational safety, environmental, quality, and auditing. This is a hands on role where you’ll build on your H&S skillset, helping to improve the safety culture, carrying out audits, and risk identification and management. If you have anything from around 18 months’ experience in heavy industry (recycling, waste management, food manufacturing/processing, heavy manufacturing etc), a NEBOSH General Certificate and the desire to learn and grow in an environment that prioritises H&S improvements, let’s discuss this further! You will need full right to work in the UK and sponsorship will not be provided
