Project Engineer – Staff – Manufacturing (COMAH site) – Salary + Benefits – Essex (East Coast side) Role: Our leading chemicals manufacturing client based in Essex is seeking a Project Engineer on a staff basis. The Project Engineer is responsible for managing engineering maintenance and capital project activities across the site, covering mechanical, electrical and control systems. The role focuses on ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery of engineering projects and maintenance activities while supporting site reliability, compliance and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will identify opportunities for improvement, develop engineering concepts into fully defined Management of Change (MOC) and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) proposals, and oversee projects from initial concept through to commissioning. They will also ensure engineering documentation, maintenance systems and asset records remain accurate and up to date.
