I'm currently working with a fast-growing renewable energy business that's looking to add a Process Engineer to its engineering team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a junior to mid-level Process Engineer looking to accelerate their career. You'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, working on innovative process projects from initial concept through to commissioning, while supporting sites across the UK and internationally. If you're working towards Chartership, this role will give you the breadth of experience needed to develop both technically and professionally.
The Role
- Working alongside experienced Process and Project Engineers, you’ll be involved in delivering a wide range of capital and process improvement projects, including:
- Producing process engineering deliverables including Mass & Energy Balances, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets and specifications
- Supporting equipment selection, plant layouts and design reviews
- Assisting with project delivery from concept, procurement and installation through to commissioning and handover
- Supporting commissioning activities and producing as-built documentation
- Contributing to process safety activities including HAZID, HAZOP and DSEAR studies
- Working across multiple operational sites, with opportunities for international travel.
About You
We’re keen to speak with Chemical or Process Engineers who have around 2+ years' experience within manufacturing, process industries, energy, chemicals or similar sectors. You’ll ideally have:
- A degree in Chemical Engineering
- Experience producing process engineering documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs and Mass & Energy Balances
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- The flexibility to travel between UK and international project sites when required.
