A leading engineering and infrastructure delivery partner is seeking an experienced Estimator to support a long-term programme of works within the UK water sector. This role offers predominantly remote working, with occasional travel required to Durham and other project locations in the North East. The successful candidate will join a well-established team delivering works associated with major UK water frameworks and must have demonstrable experience within the water industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of detailed cost estimates and pricing submissions
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Liaising with operational and commercial teams to develop accurate cost plans
  • Supporting framework and project delivery teams with commercial input
  • Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing enquiries
  • Assisting with risk identification and value engineering opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within the water sector
  • Experience working on utility, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts and framework environments preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full right to work in the UK
