Title: Electrical Engineer – Production Duration: Permanent Location: West Midlands Salary: £38k – £48k Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a background in manufacturing or production to join their growing team in the West Midlands. Responsibilities: * Interpreting electrical designs and production engineering information for the production team. * Responsible for design for manufacture and continuous improvement. * Understanding of design requirements and design standards. * Provide detailed information and technical support at all stages of the manufacturing process. * Build and maintain direct relationships with internal and external customers. * Collaborate with the H&S officer and committee to reduce risks. * Complying to regulations and specifications. * Technically responsible for the introduction of new products. * Accuracy of BOM’s. Requirements * Experience of working in a high pressure, rapidly changing manufacturing environment is essential over qualification. * Background in Electrical panel design / production engineering. * Electrical and Electronic Engineering (HNC or NVQ equivalent) is desired although not essential. * Good understanding of design requirements and design standards. * Good understanding of electrical design from concept to production. * Competent use of CAD packages. * Ability to turn Customer information into a production engineered solution. * Ability to interpret designs into drawings for the production team. * Ability to understand schematics
