The H&S Coordinator will support the site in maintaining high standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, with a primary focus on conducting, reviewing, and improving Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments across all operational areas.

  • Working closely alongside the Health & Safety Administrator to ensure legal compliance, reduce workplace risks, and promote a proactive safety culture across the site.
  • We are looking for someone with previous experience in a Health & Safety Coordinator/Advisor role within a manufacturing, chemical or industrial environment.
  • You will possess strong organisational and document management skills, as well as a proactive approach to ensure reports, permits and certifications remain valid, or are actioned in a timely manner to avoid any lapse in compliance.
  • Well versed in UK Health & Safety practices and standards.
  • Possess a NEBOSH certification, with IOSH also desirable.

This is a temporary/contract role for an initial 6-month period with potential for extension and possible conversion into a permanent role. Candidates must possess the relevant and necessary UK right to work credentials.
