Senior Technology Project Manager

Location: Hybrid / London (on-site as required)

Contract: £500 – £600 per day | Outside IR35

Overview:

We’re working with a specialist IT and security services provider to help deliver a multi-year transformation programme for their largest financial services client. They’re now looking for an experienced Senior Technology Project Manager to take ownership of several key workstreams, driving the delivery of network, infrastructure, and security-focused projects in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

This role sits at the centre of a high-value transformation and will suit someone who’s confident coordinating technical teams and third parties, managing detailed project plans, and getting hands-on where needed to keep delivery on track.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of end-to-end delivery across several live and upcoming infrastructure projects, including:
• Data Centre upgrades
• Network Access Control (NAC) upgrades
• Office relocations and network readiness
• Build and maintain project plans, manage dependencies, and ensure seamless execution across parallel workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, NOC/SOC, BAU) as well as third-party vendors.
• Deliver detailed reporting and project updates to both internal governance teams and external client stakeholders.
• Manage RAID logs, escalate issues appropriately, and ensure smooth transition into operational support.
• Be prepared to support out-of-hours or weekend activity during change windows and cutovers.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience delivering network infrastructure projects in regulated or financial services environments .
• Strong background in delivering data centre migrations, network upgrades , and technology change projects involving physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills – confident engaging technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Able to manage complex project plans using tools like MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent .
• Clear, confident communicator with a proactive, delivery-focused approach.
