A cyber security consultancy is seeking an experienced AWS Security Consultant to support a cloud security assessment engagement. This opportunity is suited to AWS security professionals who regularly conduct cloud security reviews or architecture assessments, identifying risks and strengthening security controls across AWS environments. The work will involve reviewing a client’s AWS security posture and providing practical recommendations to improve identity management, data protection and overall security architecture.
Areas of focus:
- Customer data access and protection
- AWS Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Cloud security architecture and configuration
- Security controls and risk exposure across AWS services
- Threat modelling and fraud risk considerations
- Identification of security gaps and remediation recommendations
Ideal experience:
- Strong background in AWS security architecture or cloud security consulting
- Deep knowledge of AWS IAM, identity management and access controls
- Experience conducting cloud security assessments, architecture reviews or security audits
- Familiarity with threat modelling and security risk analysis
- Ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders
