The Role
The Head of Delivery will play a critical leadership role in overseeing successful customer delivery across a portfolio of enterprise projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered successfully, customer expectations are managed effectively, and internal teams are positioned to deliver against clear priorities. The successful candidate will work directly with senior customer stakeholders, including budget holders and delivery sponsors, managing expectations, navigating challenges, and ensuring delivery remains on track. Internally, they will act as the bridge between customer priorities and delivery teams, helping to remove blockers, manage scope, and improve delivery performance. This role would suit someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex delivery challenges, and is motivated by building a scalable delivery function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of customer implementation projects from kick-off through go-live
- Build strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders
- Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and escalations
- Proactively manage customer expectations and delivery commitments
- Protect delivery teams from scope creep and uncontrolled change
- Drive formal change control when requirements evolve
- Partner with technical, operational, and commercial teams to ensure successful delivery
- Identify customer growth opportunities and share these with account teams

- Significant experience in customer-facing software delivery roles
