An established UK professional services group is seeking an experienced Contract Business Analyst for an initial 6âmonth engagement based in Belfast (two days onsite per week). You will support the enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and contribute to a wider portfolio of business and technology change initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Compliance. The role suits someone who brings structure to ambiguity, thrives in fastâpaced environments, and delivers clear, outcome driven improvements during periods of growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery activities including workshops, interviews, and process reviews to identify business needs and improvement opportunities.
- Analyse and document currentâstate processes, data flows, issues, and constraints.
- Design futureâstate processes and workflows aligned to best practice and organisational goals.
- Produce highâquality functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Translate business needs into actionable inputs for technical teams and implementation partners.
- Support solution design, identifying gaps, dependencies, risks, and regulatory considerations.
- Collaborate with developers and project teams to deliver scalable Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
- Contribute to solution walkthroughs, design reviews, and governance forums.
- Define test scenarios and support UAT, documenting outcomes and decisions.
- Support user adoption through documentation, engagement, and contributions to training materials.
- Champion continuous improvement and ensure feedback is captured and prioritised effectively.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders and support wider changeâmanagement activity.
Experience Required
- 3-5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or consultant within CRM, digital transformation, or operational systems.
- Experience in the pensions industry (preferred) or broader financial services.
- Strong handsâon experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales) or another enterprise CRM.
- Solid understanding of data models, workflows, automation, integrations, and user roles.
- Proven ability to work effectively in environments with evolving requirements and crossâfunctional dependencies.
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with both technical and nonâtechnical stakeholders.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
- A structured, pragmatic, delivery focused approach to problemâsolving.
