This role is central to their global infrastructure strategy, as DevOps Engineers drive both cloud optimisation and their shift back to on-prem. Why this role? Joining a team with a plan to grow and expand their capabilities, the main tasks you'll be focused on will be creating an enterprise-wide cutting-edge CI/CD solution. As an SME within the growing DevOps team, you would lead efforts in architecting and help to implement and optimise end-to-end CI/CD capabilities for their expanding on-prem and multi-cloud operations. You will be working in a dynamic and exciting, agile environment that includes multiple teams within the company. What you will be doing?
- Have a heavy focus on ensuring their current initiatives of modernisation, automation and integration of acquired companies continues and assist with the successful integration of such.
- Building and automating their private cloud infrastructure.
- Developing internal tooling and automation to increase software delivery velocity.
- Bridging software, network and systems teams.
- There is a heavy emphasis on observability, monitoring and SRE-aligned practices, so you will be key to ensuring this continues being implemented.
What they are looking for:
- Strong knowledge of Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience across both colocation and cloud is required.
- AWS DevOps is preferred but others may be considered (Azure, GCP, etc.).
- A collaborative mindset willing to work closely with cross-functional teams.
